PIRACY.
Stop and think.
Have you ever had the tiniest thought of sharing your files through the peer-to-peer (P2P) application or posting your files up on a forum for free public access. If the answer is no, you would probably have thought of downloading a movie/song without paying for it via P2P applications. It has become a common knowledge that piracy is a form of crime though it requires no literal harmful weapons. Illegal downloading and sharing is equivalent to walking out of a shop with the unpaid good. It rips off the victim’s intellectual property and directly affects the individual greatly.
However, majority overlook the consequences of piracy and neglects copyright law. Many may feel that piracy is a low-risk crime so they will never be caught red-handed. Governments have been looking into this problem though, zooming in to internet thieves to reduce the crime rate and protecting creativity.
The affected individual may feel unrecognised and pointless to continue with what he / she was doing because it will eventually turn out to be the number 1 on the most illegally downloaded stuff on the internet. It has deprived people to explore their creativity as people are able to have ‘free accesses’ to it. The drive and determination is gradually diminishing in people.
Indeed, advancement in technology bears a part of blame. Though it serves to provide mass with EASY access, it overlooked the FREE access part. It is convenient to people who have no spare time to get the albums or DVDs, yet it is equally convenient to people who tries to be thrifty by downloading it illegally.
Even though the government is trying to lay out fines for people who overlook piracy, the number of people doing it is seemingly still not decreasing. The user knows that by using the P2P devices, it is directly exposing his computer to harmful viruses. Yet, people are still doing it because they see the advantages as the larger benefit. It is very important to keep down the crime rate so as to protect creativity and encourage more people to produce their original products rather than infringing it.

my self-introduction
This is what Angela has to do for the mighty General Paper, also well-known as GP. In the first post, she is supposed to do a self-introduction even though she does not see the importance of it. Be it for the teacher to roughly know more about her, for her own to reflect about herself or plainly for the fun of it. However after a prolonged consideration for her teacher, she has finally decided to post. (:
Angela is turning seventeen this year on the 25th of August, she really wouldn’t mind if you are now thinking of getting her a present because she LOVES presents. She hates ornaments because those would only add on to her burden when she has to clean up her room. She loves practical things that she can actually use in her life rather than leaving it on her desk to collect dust and she uses plenty of boxes in her room to keep her stuff because she hates it when it is messy.
She is a perfectionist, as proven from a personality test that she had done recently. She aims to be perfect for everything that she puts her determination on. It is hard to make her feel proud of her work because she hardly achieves her aims. This is because she has one big flaw. PROCRASTINATION. She is an all-time procrastinator who needs her friends to remind her to get her work done all the time. Everyday, she competes with time to leave her house on time so that she can dash non-stop for two minutes to the nearest train station just so to get on the last train to school. Her homework is often dragged until the dateline. Probably even after the dateline, as can be seen from the date of this post. As every time she has to end up rushing her homework, there is no time for her to perfect her work. ):
She has many wishes she would like to fulfill before her life takes on the next phase.
Achieving good results in her studies, living in her dream country, go for bungee jumping, parachuting, scuba diving, travel in a hot air balloon, learn some music instruments and the list just goes on and on. She enjoys thrills and excitement that one does not get; being a full-time student in a country like the one she is living in now.
She is also an introvert according to the psychology test, which sometimes she herself cannot comprehend too as she loves fun and laughter with her bunch of friends. She enjoys company but sometimes prefer to be alone too. Laughing is her daily routine (:
She likes skipping around like a carefree person though she is bounded by many duties.
Being a Roman Catholic, she is also actively participative in her church activities and her church drama group, devoting half of her time there. Her church friends are friends she has mostly known since she was a year old until now. Her entire family are devoted Catholics who spend their time in church half of a week, thus having little time left with her. However, Angela still loves her family a lot and is always showered with love and care by her family through little actions. (:
She loves her set of teeth too as it requires no braces, saving a lot of trouble for her. She can always smile like this :D and like this : B She loves to eat, watch movies and cartoons, being with her friends and ultimately, sleep and smile like this :) and :D and : B.
